Gardens get overhaul

“We asked for help and we’ve got it,” said a delighted Michelle Pelser, chairperson of Community Police Forum Mondeor SAPS Area.

IN support of Mandela Day on Monday, July 18, staff from Thaba Eco Hotel, Sinzinani Spa, Chubb Security and Community Police Forum Mondeor SAPS Area, came along to Mondeor Police Station to assist in cleaning up the garden, planting shrubs and seedlings, laying compost, as well as cutting back trees and removing rubble.

“We asked for help and we got it,” said a delighted Michelle Pelser, chairperson of Community Police Forum Mondeor SAPS Area. “The gardens at the police station have been looking so dead and overgrown with weeds. With assistance from the groups of people who’ve come along today they are already looking revived. Thank you,” added Michelle.

Thaba Eco Hotel provided cool drinks and muffins for all the “workers” who enjoyed the refreshments after a few hours of hard work in the gardens at the police station.
