Grace Trinity learners head to Thailand

Four of the seven qualifying teams left on June 23 to participate in the ninth Global Scholar’s Cup

LEARNERS from Grace Trinity School for Girls are off to the annual World Scholar’s Cup, to be hosted in Bangkok.

Four of the seven qualifying teams were due to leave on June 23 to participate in the ninth World Scholar’s Cup. Delegates from 50 countries enter the challenge and spend five days with the mascot, Alpaca Jerry.

World Scholar’s Cup vision is: inclusive, encouraging, interdisciplinary, discussion-based, forward-looking team-oriented and whimsical. The goals of World Scholar’s Cup are to motivate students of all backgrounds to discover new strengths, practice new skills and inspire a global community of future scholars and leaders.

The 2016 theme is “An Imperfect World” and it explores a variety of subject areas with debating as well as collaborative writing.

Grace Trinity School wishes the Grace girls an adventure of a lifetime.
