NIGHTS are getting colder and colder daily and the need for warm bedding is also increasing.
Community-based caregivers of AMCARE recently discovered an extremely ill 32-year-old man sleeping on the floor with no bedding or food in Phola Park. After being abandoned by his family, a friend provided him with a place to stay, but he has neither bedding nor food.
AMCARE has intervened by providing him with food. However, it cannot provide him with all the basic needs such as bedding due to cash constraints.
Therefore AMCARE is kindly requesting the community’s assistance this April to collect as many blankets and possible for those in need.
