Region 5 gymnastics: Local resident represented SA
Quintin d'Hotman de Villiers, a resident from Suideroord, was selected at the 2015 National Men’s Artistic Gymnastics competition to represent South Africa.
QUINTIN d’Hotman de Villiers (13), a resident from Suideroord, was selected at the 2015 National Men’s Artistic Gymnastics competition to represent South Africa.
He represented South Africa at the Region 5 pre-junior competition held at Matsport in Centurion on December 7, 2015. Six South African boys aged 11 to 13 were selected across the country to make up team South Africa, that competed against five boys from Namibia.
Quintin was presented with five medals, first on rings, second on pommel and high bar, third on parallel bar and as overall winner. Medals were received by all South African boys for being the winning team. He has received his Gauteng and federation colours for representing South Africa.
