Ward 57 Clr appreciated

I want to say to the people of Ward 57 that you have a jewel of a councillor in the South, namely Clr Faeeza Chame.

Faeeza Chame, thank you for helping us in so many ways, such as the funerals arrangements for the underprivileged, the old, the sick and the poor. Looking back 14 months, I can confidently say that you are a star Clr Chame.

Thank you Lord for sending Faeeza Chame to us as she has brought massive change in the South. She is a woman with love and a passion for other people.

She provides community leadership; promotes active citizenship holding the interests of the ward; provides a link between the council and the community by engaging and liaising with key stakeholders including residents’ associations, local businesses, community organisations, police and health authorities; developed and maintains a working knowledge of the council’s services, management arrangements, powers, duties and constraints; developed good working relationships with relevant council officers; capable to lead and champion the interests of the local community and chair meetings in the community and facilitate discussions; has the ability to be objective, rigorous and resilient in challenging process, decisions and people; has effective presentation and public speaking skills; and attention to details of local issues and needs.
