MEC Nkosi – Malobane welcomes the judgement in Donald Sebolai’s case

Sebolai was found guilty of murdering his girlfriend Dolly Tshabalala last year June. He was also found guilty of obstructing justice.

The Gauteng MEC for Community Safety, Sizakele Nkosi–Malobane, welcomes the judgment in the former Jozi FM Dj, Donald Sebolai’s case.

“I hope that the judgement and the sentence to be handed down will send a strong message to criminals out there that the criminal justice system will not hesitate to impose harsher sentences to those found guilty of such atrocious crimes. Our hats are off to the police for the thorough investigation, arrest of the perpetrator and putting together a water-tight case. This demonstrates our unwavering war on the abuse and brutal murder of our daughters, sisters, mothers and grandmothers are subjected to in the hands of their lovers. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Tshabalala family and we hope that they have found closure,” said MEC Nkosi – Malobane.
