St Mary’s needs your support this winter

During the winter months the children of St Mary’s Children’s Home need warmer clothing to keep them warm and snug.

ROSETTENVILLE – If you can assist with pyjamas, thick socks, woolly jerseys, coats and jackets, beanies, gloves, scarves and cosy blankets, it will show the children that they are not forgotten, but cared for and loved.

All sizes are needed, from three years to 20 years old. “Any good condition second hand winter clothing or new items will be gratefully accepted,” said Sonja Harmse, director of the home.

“We also need to stock up our medicine cupboard so we are prepared for when colds and flu strike. Healthy fresh food is also needed as the children eat lots of vegetables and fruit during this cold season,” she added.

If you can help with any of the above, please phone 011 435 3820, collection of goods can often be arranged, or drop off your goodies at 42 Zinnia Street, Rosettenville.
