JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Eight enthusiastic models of Figures Glenvista will form part of a mix of over 70 models, singers, dancers and other performers heading to New York, this July, to showcase their skills at IMTA.

The International Modelling and Talent Association (IMTA) New York Convention will be held from July 20 to July 25. Figures students, Bianca Ramalho, Zaheera Rasool, Nidene Bronkhorst, Shakeela Strydom, Naeema Isaacs and Carey Lee Timm will be strutting their modelling skills on the ramp.

Tebogo Tjale will be showcasing her singing skills and Sherwin Roman will dance his heart out at the convention.

These youngsters from the South will perform in front of international model agents, talent scouts and managers from all over the world in the hope of kick starting an international career in their chosen divisions.

Branch owner, Natacha Thompson, wishes all her artists the best and will be there to support them in every way possible.

“It has been a long and tough journey, with lots of preparation for these artists leading up to the convention. We know that they will fly the South African flag high and show the international agents that South Africa has huge potential for the international market,” said Thompson.

Figures Models Glenvista has been participating at the IMTA for more than 10 years now and has had huge success with models being signed to international agencies.

The IMTA is the most prestigious showcase in the world and has started careers of well-known stars such as Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel, Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel and Moises Aires from the well known Disney show Hannah Montana.
