Donate wool and help make 1 000 beanies

MEALS on Wheels is in dire need of wool for their project to knit 1 000 beanies.

These beanies will be distributed to children from several safe houses and feeding schemes.

Meals on Wheels cares for 1 000 kids in the South of Johannesburg and would like to provide them each with a beanie. “If anyone has beanies they would like to donate, or if they are willing to supply us with the wool, we would gladly collect it from them. Several of the residents in the old ages homes that we look after are willing to knit for this cause but do not have wool. Any donation of wool will be greatly appreciated,” explained Vicky Sepp from Meals on Wheels.
