Residents give praise at fun-filled event
Even while lining up for the event, people were filled with excitement.
JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – The annual Active Worship album recording, held at the Active Church, is a highly anticipated event in the South of Johannesburg and this year, did not disappoint.
Even while lining up for the event, people were filled with excitement. All dressed up, they seemed to be entering a very high class event and that is exactly what they got.
Pastors Gavin and Vicky Enslin welcomed the congregation and, true to tradition, Gavin brought some humour to the stage with his message.
And then – Bam! The event exploded with an unbelievable video intro, followed by an amazing performance from Active Worship.
They started off with “Amplify,” a rocking song that got people’s adrenaline pumping as they amplified the name of Jesus. This was followed by a rich, colourful canvas of different musical sounds and amazing lyrics that simply touched people’s hearts and magnified the glory of God. People danced, clapped and sang their hearts out. It was an intimate time of worship.
This event welcomes people of all ages and races to unite for a common cause, and that is to glorify and amplify the name of Jesus. It never gets boring as there are so many creative elements to the event. The lighting was awesome, the message from Gavin was powerful, the decor was great, even the short message from businesssman Shaun Enslin was thought provoking and inspiring. In a nutshell, there was so much to this event that you should definitely not miss the next one.
