Manny de Freitas Foundation colon cancer awareness event
MdFF would continue with their awareness events as people have an opportunity to give back to a worthy cause.
JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – The MdFF (Manny de Freitas Foundation) held its monthly cancer awareness breakfast, with colon cancer as the focus of the cancer awareness breakfast on Saturday March 28.
Executive Director of the MdFF Jeanette de Freitas said that it was decided to focus on colon cancer as it is one of the lesser known cancers. Colon cancer develops in the colon or rectum when the abnormal growth of cells occur.
Founder of the Foundation Manny de Freitas explained that the aim of the foundation is to raise funds so that research into alternative treatments and cures for cancer can be properly researched.
“MdFF would continue with their awareness events as people have an opportunity to give back to a worthy cause, getting to know more about cancer while also having fun,” Jeanette de Freitas added.
