It is time to thank the ANC

'I want to thank the regional director and ANC.' - Bev Turk

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – It is now time to say thank you to the real heroes of the City of Johannesburg, the African National Congress (ANC).

Two developments have happened after my resignation: The installation of solar power for traffic lights and cameras; and the upliftment of flats in South Hills.

I approached MMC Christine Walters, who immediately jumped into action to install solar traffic lights at two intersections and an added bonus of cameras.

This was because I knew the South was affected by the traffic lights at the corner of Vickers and Southern Klipriviersberg roads and at the offramp of the N17.

The traffic lights encountered lots of problems due to theft or vehicles that damaged them during accidents.

Another project which also happened after my resignation, was the upliftment of the flats in South Hills at my request, and for this big thank you needs to go to MMC Dan Bovu for listening to residents.

Also at my request , during the time that the ward had no councillor, it was the ANC who kept the ward as clean as they could. I therefore want to thank the Regional Director and the ANC.

Viva ANC Viva!

Proud ANC member, Bev Turk
