Shoplifting syndicate targets shopping centres

A suspected shoplifting syndicate is reported to be scouring Comaro Crossing Shopping Centre targeting stores and vehicles left unlocked.

OAKDENE – Although security officers have become more aware and are said to be tightening security, these criminals are suspected to still be prowling Comaro Crossing Centre and other shopping centres nearby.

A gang of criminals have been spotted by security officers in a bluegreen Golf CTI, that has at least three passengers in it all the time. These shoplifters are said to always work in a gang of three or two women and one man or sometimes two men and one woman.

Shoppers and residents are requested to be on the lookout for people who fit this description, as they could assist in finding these troublesome criminals.

Another vehicle that is suspected to be used by shoplifters is a green Toyota Tazz with the registration ND 600-46. This vehicle was last seen at Comaro Crossing Shopping Centre on March 17 at 17:10.
