Ward 57 councillor gave residents clothes not food

THE COURIER would like to set the record straight under the article headlined Residents excited about donations.

In the story, it is stated that Ward 57 Councillor Faaze Chame showered residents of Springbok informal settlement with mealie meal, oil, toiletries, and clothes. However, the councillor only gave clothes, not mealie meal, oil and toiletries as well.
