BOOYSENS police have opened a case of murder after a mother in West Turffontein was allegedly killed by her son on February 8.
It is said that the incident happened around 5.30am.
“I can confirm that a suspect has been apprehended and has been brought to the station for questioning. We are opening a murder docket at the station and we will charge the suspect as soon as we have all the relevant information,” explained Booysens police communications officer, Capt Lorraine van Emmerik.
