First runner-up prize for Rushil

Ever since a child, Rushil’s dream was always to be both a great lawyer and a world-class model.

RUSHIL Jina (21) from Lenasia South became the first runner-up and the youngest contestant in Mr SA India 2018.

The winner of Mr India SA 2018 was a 30-year-old Desmin Moonsamy who hails from Durban.

Rushil aimed for the stars and was not afraid of the sweat and tears it will take to get there. He is smart, suave and straight-up good-looking and dedicated to achieving the best version of himself.

Ever since a child, Rushil’s dream was always to be both a great lawyer and a world-class model. Since both of Rushil’s aspirations were a priority to him, he had to juggle between the strenuous prepping for Mr SA India and the exhausting academic examinations that ran concurrently.

While it was a difficult task to do, Rushil accomplished this with distinctions in law exams and excelled at the Mr India SA 2018.

The man behind this prestigious Mr India SA brand is none other than Danny Absolute who has taken his own humble and sincere nature, finesse and boldness, style and integrity to create this platform of motivating men in achieving their own excellence.

Mr India South Africa is a world-class event which cleverly combines fashion, western and eastern style, sport, culture, business, life skills, etiquette and an awareness of unknown cities in India, and includes helping the underprivileged, creating various fund-raisers for their charitable organisations, a cook-off and golf tournaments.

Rushil also won first prize for his multi-media presentation on his chosen City of Dwarka which is an ancient city in the north-western Indian state of Gujarat, as well as winning the title of Mr Congeniality 2018.

“I sincerely hope that more Johannesburg men will be motivated to take up the challenge of the Mr India South Africa Competition in the years to come. Mr India SA Competition was truly the best and most unforgettable experience of my life. It was a tough contest, since all the men equally deserved to win. Getting this far was one of my biggest achievements. The men have all bonded well and created a brotherhood, which made the entire journey a lot more fun,” Rushil said.
