WATCH: Police, JMPD and the CPF raid The Hill High

The SAPS are working in conjunction with Metro and the Department of Education to make sure that schools are safe.

A raid has been conducted at The Hill High by the Moffat View SAPS, CPF and the JMPD this morning, October 23.

During the raid a knife, dagga, cigarette, lighter and playing cards were found.

Captain Jeff Phora explained why a raid at the school was necessary.

“We have had one too many incidents in schools thus school safety is taking a priority,” Phora said.

The SAPS are working in conjunction with Metro and the Department of Education to make sure that schools are safe.

A new hashtag, #KuozabaSafeEsgela has been created to promote safety at schools.
