As we are in the month where women are being celebrated, the COURIER asked women what their plans this month are.
VIVIAN MOYO: “Showing people love will be my number one priority and support every woman that needs my help where I can help. And I would like to wish every woman a happy Women’s Month.”MARIA FERNANDO: “I will be spending most of my time working, and I will being helping at my local church to distribute clothes to the poor. But my aim this month is to celebrate everyday with joy.”JOYCE OGIDE: “On August 9 I will be giving food to the poor just to celebrate the day with them. It’s essential that we as women do something for the less privileged this month.”ASANDA SAUL: “As a young woman it shows me how women are respected in this country, giving them a month dedicated to them only. I will be helping older people with anything they need like laundry.”
