Sean was killed by an alleged speeding motorist.
Tragedy struck when a man was fatally hit by a motorist in Forest Hill, south of Johannesburg on Sunday afternoon.
Sean Subramoney was cremated in Durban on March 9 following a fatal car accident on Carter Road on March 4.
The fatal crash happened around 12:45pm.
A friend of Sean, Daniel Kroukamp, said the motorist who crashed into Sean on the afternoon was allegedly speeding.
He said the car, a white Golf, came down Carter Road. There were no skid marks, implying that the vehicle had no intent to slow down.
He said the motorist who hit Sean allegedly attempted to flee the scene but was stopped by onlookers.
Kroukamp said Carter and Koll Road had become a death trap. He, alongside the community, plead for a speed bump to be installed as motorists seem to race down the street.
“How many more people have to be killed in this daunting roads where two primary school are also located?” said Kroukamp, referring to The Mossie Primary School and Voorbrand Primary located just a few blocks away from the scene of the accident.
He said the police alongside the JMPD responded to the accident and were investigating.

He wasn’t sure how many people were in the Golf at the time of the accident but reiterated that too many people had fallen victim to unnecessary accidents.
According to Kroukamp, blood could still be seen on the scene.
Friends and family arrived to pay their last respects to Sean, who they say was a straightforward person.
The memorial was at 3.30pm, the same day Sean was cremated at the Clare Estate Crematorium in Reservoir Hills, Durban North.
Pastor Leonard Nelson spoke of goodwill and retribution before closing the memorial with a prayer.
