Police search high school learners

The search was to ensure children had no drugs or weapons at school.

THE Hill High School received a pleasant surprise from police on Friday 23.

Moffat View police targeted The Hill High School to do a normal search of items in order to ensure that learners don’t have drugs on the school premises.

Class by class the officers, including CPF Sector 3 members, asked teachers for their permission in searching the learners.

A peaceful and orderly bunch of learners walked out of their classrooms and followed the officers’ and CPFs instructions.

A much-needed effort by the community’s protectors to ensure children are constantly safe at school.

Teachers adhered to the momentary pause while the search was carried out. More schools will be targeted in an effort to keep the community’s future-leaders safe.
