Condolences for hit and run victim (5)

The accident happened around 6pm on Outspan Road in South Hills.

MOFFAT View CPF sector 3 would like to send their deepest condolences to the family of the five-year-old who died in a hit and run accident on October 27.

The accident happened around 6pm on Outspan Road in South Hills.

CPF sector 3 spokesman Paulo Monteiro said they were patrolling the area in a visibility patrol when they were called to the accident scene.

“On arrival we found the metro police who had already secured the scene, and we joined in to direct traffic,” Monteiro said.

“The scene was of a hit and run accident where, very sadly, the five-year-old little girl, Nicole, lost her life. The whole CPF and police of Moffat View would like to convey our deepest condolences to the heartbroken family. May Nicole’s soul rest in peace.

“We would like to thank the community for their cooperation when we approach them,” Monteiro added. “These stop and search patrols that SAPS and the CPF do are for the benefit of the community.”
