Skills development opportunity for the youth

The Believers Care Society Youth Development Centre, through the Believers Care Society Academy, invites unskilled youth to register for free skills training.

A door of opportunity has opened up for the unskilled and unemployed youth of the South.

The Believers Care Society Youth Development Centre, through the Believers Care Society Academy, invites them to register for free skills development training.

The project aims to equip them with employable skills and provide them with basic life skills.

Training courses currently available are: end-user computing; project management (level 4); contact centre support (call centres); and office administration.

The duration of all courses is three months.

Classes begin on October 23, 2017.

All classes will take place at the community development centre in Turffontein.

Unemployed youths are encouraged to apply now.

  • To qualify, the entrants need to be between 17 and 35 years old and be residents of the South of Johannesburg.
  • They need to have a matric or equivalent.
  • Grade 10s will be provided a different programme for learning and bettering their education.
  • A basic requirement for the course is that all entrants must be willing to study and complete the training.

Requirements also include: copy of ID, proof of residence, previous qualification and a short CV.

Classes are Monday to Friday, for five hours per day.
