Hasn’t the weather been beautiful? We’ve had balmy sunny days with hardly a breath of wind and although the temperatures have dropped during the evening, it’s not been freezing cold. If this is winter, bring it on!
Meals created just for you
Last week I attended a meeting at Vista Chef’s Creations in Glenanda and we sampled some of the delicious ‘creations’ from the menu.
We began with butternut and potato soup – creamy and so divine. Then we sampled a seafood pasta dish, went on to a vegetable cottage pie and ended with Thai-style curry with basmati rice.
You can choose from a weekly menu of meals from the Chef’s Signature, Veg-e-Tastic, Get Balanced or Get Banting and from Monday to Friday you’ll be able to enjoy perfectly delicious dinners. The meals serve one person and there is a weekly menu. Daily meals are provided on request, with one day’s notice required. Orders and payments for weekly meals need to be received before 4pm on the preceding Friday. You can collect your meal any time between 1pm and 5pm on the day.
The service is perfect for single or married career people who don’t always have the time to prepare perfectly balanced dinners, or for someone living alone who doesn’t enjoy cooking. The choices in each range are really varied and from what I’ve tasted I’d recommend them.
