THE Papillon Foundation has trained 9 433 unemployed community members in the community of the South thus far. It offers accredited computer training courses at affordable, social outreach prices.
The E-Learner Course is accredited with ICDL (internationally accredited) and the MICT SETA (local NQF level 3).
This qualification is in high demand in the job market, and you can improve your chances of finding employment by having a good qualification and by being computer literate.
This course comprises seven modules: IT basics, files and folders, drawing, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, web browsing and email.
The duration of the course is two weeks, Monday to Thursday, from 09:00 to 13:00 (full-time), or two months on Saturdays from 09:00 to noon (part-time).
The next starting dates are November 1 (full-time) and November 11 (part-time)
Registration is essential. An entry requirement is basic English literacy.
