Murderer gets 15 years behind bars

Murderer gets fifteen years direct imprisonment for the murder of a Crown Gardens man.

BOOYSENS SAPS applauds Sgt Mulalo Ramashia who successfully investigated a murder of a Crown Gardens man to see the murderer sentenced to 15 years of direct imprisonment.

The perpetrator was found guilty for murdering the deceased on Friday, November 5, in 2014 around 03:00 and leaving him lying face down on after shooting him.

Sgt Mulalo Ramashia started to investigate straight away and was able to arrest a suspect. The officer obtained all the relevant information and statements and took the docket to court.

The sentence was handed down at the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, August 30, and the murderer was also declared unfit to be possess a firearm.
