JMPD conducts a school road safety campaign

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH: JMPD is conducted a school road safety campaign at Meredale Primary School, corner Sheila and Maureen Streets on Friday morning, July 22.

The aim is to remind parents about the importance of road rules and signs.

Officer Thato Phiri informed the COURIER that there are unruly parents that put others in danger, especially on Fridays and this habit extents to other schools. She added that Meredale Primary temporarily has traffic scholar patrollers to help combat the habit.

JMPD officers also spoke to the learners about pedestrian crossing and Mini Driving Licence certificates were issued to the l.
