TV weekly must watch

We’ve rounded up three great shows you should keep an eye out for this week.

Start with a true-crime documentary about the exploration of big cat breeding and its bizarre underworld. Then get ready for the return of a serial killer now living a homicide-free life under an assumed name when his son shows up. Or watch a romantic period novel that follows two cousins navigating their lives and friendship, as they seek different things in life.

We thought the mayhem was over. But we’ve only scratched the surface. Tiger King is back for a second season. With Joe Exotic behind bars and Carole Baskin closing in on ownership of his disreputable zoo, the Emmy-nominated saga continues its twisted course with Tiger King 2 as newfound revelations emerge on the motivations, backstories, and secrets of America’s most notorious big cat owners. Old enemies and frenemies, including Jeff Lowe, Tim Stark, Allen Glover, and James Garretson return for another season of murder, mayhem, and madness. Thought you knew the whole story? Just you wait. Now showing on Netflix. *Contains strong language in the trailer.

The world at large believes Dexter Morgan died in a tragic boating accident, and in a way, the world at large isn’t wrong. Far from the life he knew, living under a false name in the small town of Iron Lake, N.Y., he’s successfully tamped down his Dark Passenger for nearly 10 years. With a normal job and a girlfriend who’s chief of police, it seems he’s got life under control – until his son shows up and turns his world upside down. Rattled, Dexter yields to his homicidal urges and soon finds himself on a collision course with a very dangerous local. Watch Dexter: New Blood season 1 every Monday at 9:30pm on M-Net, channel 101.

Written and directed by Emily Mortimer, The Pursuit of Love is a romantic comedy-drama about love and friendship. An adaptation of Nancy Mitford’s celebrated novel and set in Europe between the two World Wars, the story follows the adventures and misadventures of the charismatic and fearless Linda Radlett, and her best friend and cousin Fanny Logan. Now showing on Showmax.
