Whether it’s dinner with family, lunch with friends or takeaways by yourself, the potential to overeat is always lurking.
The purpose of eating is to feed your hunger, not to be full. Kristin Kirkpatrick, a consultant at Cleveland Clinic says that as soon as you are not feeling hungry anymore, you should stop eating. Otherwise, you are subscribing to overeating. The quantity of your meal should not exceed the measure of your hunger, as this will make you eat more than you are supposed to.
So, the next time you are surrounded by a feast, do not eat all that you can but just what you need to avoid overeating.
