Body of missing East Rand boy found in church toilets

It is alleged he suffered from a heart condition and it is suspected he had an attack while he was in the bathroom.

The body of 13-year-old Tshegofatso Mokgothi who went missing on Saturday afternoon was found in the toilets of SDA Church on Sunday, African Reporter reports.

As reported on social media by a concerned relative on Sunday morning, the boy was last seen leaving Tsakane SDA church at corner Tlokwa and Bhala street, walking to Geluksdal.

Duduza Police spokesperson confirmed that the body found in the church toilets were indeed that of the missing boy.

“It is alleged he suffered from a heart condition and it is suspected he had an attack while he was in the bathroom.
“ No foul play in his death is suspected at this point,” he adds.
