The successful women’s day high tea was held to celebrate the essence of women who were able to share their stories and struggles.

Founder of the organisation, Nokubonga Mkhize explained that the organisation assists women in the community who have been subjected to abuse and those who have financial constraints.  “We hold seminars where women gather to share their stories. Medical or psychological professionals are invited to these seminars to offer advice to all that may require assistance.  Part of these seminars is for members to advise us if there is anyone in the community that they are aware of that may require assistance so that Womeness can arrange for a visit to the affected family/home and provide assistance to the family/home.”
