Jabulani’s senior citizens prepare for annual fete

Jabulani’s senior citizens are hard at work, preparing for their annual fundraiser fete that takes place on Saturday, 10 August from 10am to 2pm at Amanzimtoti Sports Centre.

Entry is free and you can be assured of fun for the whole family, including music, a tea garden and a beauty pageant.
Browse for bargains at the plants, pickles, books, crafts and bric-a-brac stalls. Stand a chance to win a raffle and tombola prizes.

For the hungry there will by a choice of delicious cakes, curry and rice, hotdogs, bacon and egg rolls and pancakes on sale. For the children, there will be face painting, jumping castles, pony rides, donkey cart, a treasure hunt and bowling lane for them to enjoy themselves.

“We also have stalls that we will rent out for R100, but must be booked and paid for by Tuesday, 30 July,” said Jabulani’s Jolene Berry. For more information, or to book a stall, call Jolene on 031-916-1231.
