SUNDAY, 31 MARCH: Amanzimtoti’s partially sighted and blind bowlers are urged to attend the Visually Impaired Bowlers Association’s weekly bowling afternoon at Berea Bowling Club in Durban every Sunday from 1pm to 4pm. Blind and partially sighted people who are prepared to join this association can look forward to an afternoon of fun and fellowship playing bowls. TUESDAY, 2 APRIL: Umbogintwini Dog Training’s second semester commences at Lords & Legends. Puppies up to six months old train at 5.30pm to 6.30pm and older first timers train from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Cost of R300 covers first 10 week training. Ensure that your puppy/dog is on a collar and lead, take your pet’s vaccination book (having had their second vaccinations), treats and plastic bags in case you need to clean up after your pet. THURSDAY, 5 APRIL: Probus members should note the next meeting will be held at Amanzimtoti Bowling Club as Umbovango Nature Reserve is undergoing an upgrade and necessary repairs. Meeting time 9.20am for 10am. The meeting will be an AGM and games morning. Bring your meat and salads for the braai after the meeting, drinks to be purchased at the bar. SATURDAY, 6 APRIL: KZN Philharmonic Orchestra fundraiser at Mooi Hawens from 3pm. There is no cover charge but a donation of R50 or more from each person will be greatly welcomed by the residents. Lions host health checks

KINGSBURGH Lions Club hosts its next health testing session on Saturday, 13 April.

Every second Saturday of the month, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, Kingsburgh Lions Club hosts free blood pressure and diabetes testing at Pick ’n Pay Arbour Crossing.

 

Ramble along with walkers

TOTI Ramblers walk every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 6am from Lords and Legends parking area.
