Jabulani fete makes move to Hutchison Park

The fete has been moved to Amanzimtoti Sports Centre in an effort to attract more people and provide better facilities.

The Amanzimtoti public is urged to support the Jabulani Senior Citizens Residence annual fete on Saturday, 5 August from 9am to 2pm.

The fete has been moved to Amanzimtoti Sports Centre in an effort to attract more people and provide better facilities.

“Reena Solomon, the woman who organised a walk in the park to raise funds to get emergency lights installed at Jabulani, Walk for Water, and more recently a walk for the Mother of Peace children, convinced us it is time for change,” said Jabulani administrator, Beth Duncan.

“We don’t host a big market like Poinsettia Park, but we will have loads of goodies and lots of fun.

Reena is amazing and her excitement is contagious. Cathy Colley of Amanzimtoti Athletics Club is more than happy to support the oldies, and of course the amazing Deena Parker-Buys from Amanzimtoti Trader is on board, so it looks like it’s all systems go for a good fun day.”
