Catch hip hop muso Tyraqeed at July after-party

Tyraqeed will be on stage for a July after-party at Nul Lounge in Umbumbulu on Saturday, 1 July.

Inkwali hip hop sensation is heating up the airwaves with his second single.

Bayanda Mzimela, AKA Tyraqeed, has been on a whirlwind tour to promote ‘Shukela’ in Gauteng and Durban.

“I was in Johannesburg last week to push the single on YFM, 5FM, Metro FM, Umhlobo FM, Wenene FM, Kaya FM and also eTV,” said Bayanda.

“When I returned to Durban, I did an exclusive interview with DJ Sgqemeza on Ukhozi FM. Shukela is going viral and people are loving it. I will be dropping a music video for it soon.”

The new single is also playlisted on one of the biggest radio stations in London called Capitec Radio.

The 22-year-old producer is riding a wave of acclaim following the success of his first single ‘Napha Napha’ in May last year. The young muso started producing in 2010 and his brother Mbongeleni is also a hip hop artist and promoter.

Tyraqeed will be on stage for a July after-party at Nul Lounge in Umbumbulu on Saturday, 1 July. “I’m happy to announce that I will be sharing the stage with the likes of Saudi, Lasauce, Miss Pru and DJCityLyts.

Writing and producing music is becoming easier for me, as I feel I am blessed and it comes naturally,” said Bayanda.
