Beautiful models and cabaret artists will be driven in spectacular automobiles in the fun and fashion parade to entertain the whole family at 11.30am.

But for the petroheads, there will be over 400 pre-1975 cars and motorbikes to drool over. The Ford marque will take centre-stage this year and over 50 cars are expected to participate in another spectacular parade.

Over 30 classic car and bike clubs will be represented but individual enthusiasts are invited to bring their pride-and-joy to display, provided it is pre-1975.

There will be a beer tent and a large tea garden as well as a huge variety of foods available. Gates open at 7.30am for exhibitors and 9am for the general public. There will be no steps to negotiate this year and parking for the disabled is available on the show field. Visitors entrance fees are R30 for adults, R10 for pensioners and scholars, while children U12 enter for free.

Free parking will be available at Scottburgh Primary School and at the southern, cordoned off car park of Scottburgh Mall with a free shuttle bus. Alternatively cars can park in the streets surrounding the schools.

So go along and enjoy a day of nostalgia while being serenaded by music from the 50s and 60s. The show is again sponsored by the Rising Sun Community newspaper. More information, call Peter Fielding on 039-976-1995, or visit the website www.scottburghclassiccarshow.co.za
