All the fun of Hospice Fair

The cost is R5 for scholars, R10 for senior citizens and R15 for adults.

The annual Hospice Fair takes place from 27 to 29 November at the DSB Municipal Grounds in Craigieburn.

“There will be lots of entertainment for all visitors, young and old, including Khanya Has Talent, great food stalls, activities all day, a fun fair, Radio Hindvani broadcasting on site, plus celebrities in attendance,” said Khanya Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald.

The fair features three days of fun and games, with raffles and prizes galore.

“One of the highlights will be local radio station DJ Wesley Reddy. He will be on top form and give a performance not to be missed. I am sure he will not mind giving out his autograph.”

Wesley challenges all the younger people to support this event and join hands in the fight against cancer.

“On the Sunday we have a motorbike and car show, plus a lucky draw to win a brand-new car at 5pm. There is also lots of parking and security,” said Neil.

The cost is R5 for scholars, R10 for senior citizens and R15 for adults.

“Hospice is an NGO, not government-funded and this is one way we try and raise funds. We need all the support and donations we can get to enable us to do what we do best – to care for people who are terminally ill,” said Neil.

People who would like to book a food stall, or a stall to exhibit their goods or do demonstrations can call Neil on 039-973-1783 or 083-597-8985 or email hospice@scottnet.co.za.
