Back your pony at Donkey Derby fundraiser
Tickets are available to attend at R50 per person.
eThekweni South Lions host a Donkey Derby fundraiser at Toti Civic Centre’s supper room on Saturday, 17 October at 6.30pm for 7pm.
The evening will be attended by 100 to 120 guests and includes dinner.
“To make the evening a fundraising success, we need the support of people who are willing to sponsor a race,” said PRO, Bernise Pienaar.
A race costs R1,000 to sponsor. Your sponsorship entitles you to:
- A table for 10 guests, including dinner.
- Advertising inside and outside the hall with sponsor advertising material on the tables. Materials and banners to be supplied by sponsors.
- The sponsor’s name, logo and names of the six donkeys will be printed in the race book, ensuring the company receives exposure during the evening.
- A lot of fun.
“During the evening there will be six donkey races with six donkeys in each race. Guests will be able to buy a donkey at the auction and bet on their favourite donkey and if their donkey wins, receive a share of the tote,” said Bernise.
Tickets are available to attend at R50 per person.
