SATURDAY, 18 APRIL: Jehovah’s Witnesses hold an assembly at Amanzimtoti Civic Centre. This semi-annual event attracts Witnesses and non-Witnesses from Scottburgh to the Bluff. The theme is ‘Keep seeking Jehovah’s righteousness’, which is based on Matthew 6:33. Entry is free, and no collections will be taken. Everyone is welcome to attend. WEDNESDAY, 22 APRIL: April’s luncheon will celebrate 21 Club’s 63rd birthday. The colour theme is black, white, silver and gold, but wear your favourite party outfit. The luncheon will be held at noon for 12.30pm at Lords and Legends. Members must confirm whether or not they will attend, and provide guests’ names to Lyn on 082-572-1328 or on 031-903-4026 or Gwyn on 072-223-3009 or on 031-903-3126 no later than Friday, 17 April. The speaker will be Norma Stapelberg of Creative Image Craft and Painting Studios. Guests will be accommodated if there is room.

 

FRIDAY, 22 MAY: Kamalinee Primary School hosts its annual grade 7 debs ball at 6pm at Amanzimtoti Civic Centre. Tickets are R60 for adults and R30 for children. For more details, contact the school on 031-902-4534.
