Help police by reporting suspicions

The price that drugs command can be measured in lost lives, not money.

THE discovery of a stockpile of drug ingredients in the garage of a St Winifreds home this week has shocked residents.
While it’s unclear how the police unearthed the cache, it must come as a complete shock to unwitting neighbours.
Police are continually appealing to communities to be their eyes and ears, to assist in fighting crime. And the fight against drugs is especially important, considering the effects it has on families. The scourge is a particularly poisonous venom that seeps into communities and destroys all in its path.

The price that drugs command can be measured in lost lives, not money. Communities must act and report suspicious goings-on, however insignificant it may seem. And equally, the police need to remain ever-vigilant in responding to every tip-off to ensure that wherever drug rings work and ply their trade, they’re netted and made an example of.

Drugs destroy, it’s plain and simple. Help police to ensure its destructive effects don’t take root in your community.
