Music festival to unite rural community

The festival will feature live performances from Zulu dancers, mas’kandi, kwaito and hip hop artists.

Tc celebrate cultural month, the public is invited to the Ezimbokodweni Art and Culture Musical Festival at Ezimbokodweni community hall from 11am on Saturday, 27 September.

The event is hosted by non–profit organisation, the Siyaphambili Community Development Organisation, in a bid to unite the community.

“lt’s to give local artists the platform to showcase their talents,” said event co-ordinator, Njabulo Ndlela.

“We will feature live performances from Zulu dancers, mas’kandi, kwaito and hip hop artists.

There will also be a lucky draw, where the winner will win a cellphone valued at R1,500.”
