Get behind Lions donkey derby fundraiser
Sponsors are needed to sponsor races.
eThekwini South Lions will host a Donkey Derby fundraiser at Umbogintwini Primary School on Saturday, 25 October.
The evening will be attended by between 100 and 120 guests and includes dinner.
“To make this evening a fundraising success, we need the support of sponsors who are willing to sponsor a race,” said eThekwini South Lions PRO, Mandy Roux.
To sponsor a race cost R1,000. Your sponsorship will entitle you to the following:
*A table for 10 guests, including dinner;
* Advertising inside and outside the hall, with sponsors’ advertising materials on the tables. Materials and banners are to be supplied by sponsors;
* Name the race that you sponsor, as well as naming the six donkeys in the race;
* The sponsor’s names, logo and the names of the six donkeys will be printed in the programme, ensuring the company receives exposure during the evening;
* A lot of fun on the evening.
During the evening there will be six donkey races with six donkeys in each race. Guests will be able to bet on their favourite donkeys and if their donkey wins, receive their share of the tote.
