On the most recent episode of the E! Entertainment show, Rivers rated US singer Christina Aguilera’s hairstyle featuring blonde hair with bright red braids and hair extensions at the VH1 Music Awards as one of her ‘must-see looks of the year 2000’, according to a Channel 24 report. She dubbed Aguilera’s creation “the triple crown of skank do’s”.
Taking it to a whole new shocking level, Rivers said: “The last time I saw a blonde with red streaks in her hair she was laying on Oscar Pistorius’ bathroom floor.”
This is the third shameless quip made by the 81-year-old about the Oscar Pistorius murder trial and the death of Reeva Steenkamp.
In April, she slammed singer and dancer Cat Graham’s outfit, saying: “Cat’s outfit is so terrible on the scale of really bad ideas, it falls between marrying Charlie Sheen and using Oscar Pistorius’s bathroom.”
Earlier that month, Rivers made Pistorius the butt of a similar fashion joke, saying of Hollywood celebrity Garcelle Beauvais’s shoes: “The footwear! I have not seen footwear this f***** up since Oscar Pistorius wobbled to the witness stand.”
