Mandela Day event to amass school kit for the needy
Sponsor uniforms, backpacks and shoes to less fortunate primary school pupils.
Buoyed by the success of its youth festival at Sesifikile sports grounds from 14 to 16 June, the Siyaphambili Community Development Organisation hosts an event ‘celebrating 67 minutes of Mandela’ on Friday, 18 July at Emadamini sports ground, next to the Umbogintwini Clinic.
“Our youth festival was very successful and we thank Clearwater Spur for its donation of refreshments, and principal of Kwathambo Primary School for the use of its road safety awareness props,” said chairman, Njabulo Ndlela
For its next event, Njabulo would like to donate uniforms, backpacks and shoes to less fortunate primary school pupils.

The event will also feature games, soccer, netball, a road safety awareness campaign, music and dancing.
