Champ’s tale re-told

Just look at me now! I am feeling so much better!

My skin is still very itchy and it burns when I scratch too much, but I have more hair growing out now and I heard them saying something about me being a sheep. Then I must be one I get to go on walks with nice people who like to rub my ears and give me treats while telling me how awesome I am.

I am happy to have a full tummy every night, and to be safe from the “ugly” people who called me Filthy, I don’t know why they called me that, Nicky says my name is Champ, they must be stupid too.

I like my neighbours, even little Bryce who has the most annoying voice, I think he just wants more attention, he’s not too fond of being in a kennel. Even Courage is cool, he tells me he was chained for most of his life, and he has so much pent up energy that is why he gets extra long walks and has to train the people how to give him treats, they learn fast to he says, they’re not all that bad.

Most are nice, and he heard a rumour that some of them even let dogs sleep on their beds…but I think he must have heard wrong, one of those urban legends I’m sure…Rocco is awesome, so laidback and chilled and Brody just wants to play and run and be silly, I see little Brynn’s hair is growing back too, I think he is a hyena though!

Betty and Brynn said they will go on a walk with us one of these days, they just need some more time to build up trust, they can see these new humans are much better than the old ones, so they’ll give it a go soon.
