Warner Beach Prep players selected for top league

The pair won a trophy and medals with the team they were selected for.

WARNER Beach Preparatory School’s hockey players Tyler Hawkins and Avukile Zungu recently took the title when their team, the Raptors, won the U14 Durban Premier League.

The three-day tournament was played in Durban, and the two were selected for the team as a result of their outstanding performance on the field.

Tyler and Avukile also play for their school’s hockey team and recently played in the Warners Super Sixes 6-A-Side Hockey Series, played from September 6 to 20.
