GET ready for an electrifying weekend of cricket as the KZNCU Castle Corner Bash comes to the Amanzimtoti Cricket Club on September 7 and 8.
The event promises to be a thrilling spectacle featuring an impressive line-up of local, provincial and national cricketers.

According to a statement by the club, fans can look forward to watching the likes of Brad Porteus, Jon-Jon Smuts, Sarel Erwee, Andile Simelane and Khaya Zondo strut their stuff on the field.
“These renowned players will bring their A-game to the pitch, ensuring a weekend full of high-octane cricketing action.”
The club’s first-team cricketers will also be in the mix, with Dale Kinsey, Dylan Labuschagne, Jared Michaux, Luc Jacobs, Dillon Bryan, Jared Havemann, Tylor Trenoweth and Rob Ackermann showcasing their skills and passion for the game.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for cricket fans to engage with the sport up close and personal, whether die-hard cricket aficionados or casual observers,” read the statement.
The weekend also promises a vibrant atmosphere with a DJ, bar, braai facilities and a big screen for the Springboks vs New Zealand game on Saturday at 17:00. Activities kick off at 08:30 on both days. Entrance is free.
