Her first and second place finishes earned her a qualification to take part in the upcoming South African Championships – the IBFF Africa Cup.
AMANZIMTOTI bodybuilder Carien Da Camara dominated the stage at the provincials for the IBFF Kingdom Classics in Westville recently.
According to a statement by her employer, Amanzimtoti High School, Da Camara’s determination and passion shone through as she clinched the coveted title of first place for Ms Fitness Model, along with an impressive second place for Ms Bikini Model.

“These remarkable victories have earned her the well-deserved qualification for the upcoming South African Championships – the IBFF Africa Cup in September – set to take place in the vibrant city of Johannesburg,” it read.
Da Camara said she was overwhelmed, adding that the experience was exciting. “The day was magnificent. I feel honoured by my awards. It’s a good way for me to inspire others and motivate them to stay healthy. Working at a school also allows me to inspire the children and be a role model that can help lead them to healthy lifestyles,” she said.
The statement further encouraged people to shower her with love, support and cheers as she embarks on the thrilling journey.
“Her unwavering dedication and commitment serve as an inspiration to us all. Join us in sending her the biggest congratulations and best wishes for the upcoming challenge,” it said.
