Toti bodybuilders make it to National Champs
Carien da Camara has qualified to represent the province at the IBFF All Africa Championships in Pretoria.
THE bodybuilding power couple from Amanzimtoti, Daniel and Carien da Camara, have been chosen to represent KwaZulu-Natal after excelling at the IBFF South Africa KZN Provincial Championships held at ATKV Natalia in Illovo Beach on September 3.

Carien achieved first place in Ms Fitness Model O/35, and second in the Ms Figure category. Daniel achieved third place in Men’s Physique, and they will both represent the province at the IBFF All Africa Championships on September 24, in Pretoria. The competition will be the biggest bodybuilding event of the year. On September 10, Carien was supposed to participate in the PCA South African Championships in Cape Town but could not go due to a lack of funds.
Carien appeals to the community for donations to cover the trip and other expenses involved. These include flights, accommodation, tanning gear and entrance fees.
