Points are given for winning a match, and the top two teams play in a final on the afternoon of the third day.

Robert Ackermann will be playing for Capital 23 Crushers, Robin Smith and Jandre Fourie for Aucor Avengers, Jarryd Michaux and Dylan Labuschagne for ETA Shields, Tagen Naidoo for Shofire Mobile ME Lions and Jordan van Zyl for HollywoodBets Hot Shots. The sixth team is Sixers.

To participate in the league, players had to either be contracted Dolphins players, contracted high-performance players, top 20 bowlers in the premier league or top 20 batsmen in the premier league.

“The players are excited about the tournament and ready to give it a red-hot go,” said club manager Annamarie Ackermann.

All games will be played on various ovals at Kingsmead, except one that will be played at Crusaders. The final game will be played on the main oval at the stadium.
