Amanzimtoti Bowling Club news

Birthday greetings go to Dave Dobbin, Brad Cox and Cathy Badenhorst.

THE Fury multi-franchise mixed fours competition recently took place at Amanzimtoti Bowling Club, with a restricted number of teams competing as only one green was open.

The winners on the day were Alec Nel, Susan Nel, Kevin Lindsay and Lesley Levy, with a massive score of 4 + 26. Greg McLeod, Clive Frank, Tokkie de Kock and Barry Bush were runners-up, with Heather Brown, Adie Fuller, Dawn Schauer and Cathy Badenhorst taking the second session.

The 100 board was won by Phil ‘sit down’ Whitton. At TGIF Robbie Roberts’ number was drawn for the Friday night 100 board and the attendance draw will go up to R450 next week as Eric Gardner was not present to collect his prize.

Although Kathy Sharp’s number was drawn for the fifth time, she was not able to find the right key.

Next week the jackpot will be R10 000 and if not won, the following week will be a ‘must win’ draw with 12 chances to claim the full bonanza.
